I've been working on this video on and off for a very long time, and it's finally here.
I made a study on "synth strings" with a focus on music for media, and made a tutorial on how to program three very different patches from vintage to a rather modern interpretation of this classic sound, all using the amazing Arturia V-Collection which is as usual a benchmark for quality and variety.
In this video: the Prophet 5 (classic strings), the CS-80 (PMW strings) and MiniFreak (a modern blend of virtual analog and Karplus-Strong).
